The dashboard is being redesigned to make progress 
easier to see, understand, and discuss. It organizes the 
25 strategic actions across the four MYSP priorities — 
Belonging, Mastery, Independence, and Generosity 
— and helps identify where each action sits in its implementation journey. 
Some actions are emerging. Some are developing. Others are becoming more 
deeply embedded in practice.
This matters because meaningful system improvement is rarely linear. 
It requires honesty about where momentum is strong, where learning 
is still underway, and where more 
focused attention is needed.
In the Louis Riel School Division (LRSD), the Multi-Year 
Strategic Plan (MYSP) 2023–2027 has helped bring greater 
coherence to our work across schools and board office 
teams. It has provided a clear frame for our priorities 
while leaving room for the learning, adaptation, and local 
decision-making that strong public education requires.
This year marks the third Annual Report to the 
Community (ARC) in the current MYSP cycle. Over time, 
the work has continued to mature. What began as a 
plan has increasingly become a set of shared practices: 
gathering evidence, noticing patterns, asking better 
questions, learning from what is working, and naming 
what still needs attention.
A multi-year strategic plan is more than a document. At its best, 
it becomes a shared way of thinking, learning, deciding, and acting together.
